About our eco-friendly packaging
Before shipping, our candles are packed into a box made of paulownia wood. We wanted to keep the box design simple, so that you can use it for a broad range of purposes. Unlike, for instance, mahogany or teak, the paulownia tree grows fast, which makes it an environmentally friendly option when compared to many other trees. Plus, we love how it looks!
Never burn the candle in the wooden box. Never touch hot wax. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from things that can catch fire. Keep away from children and pets. Use a heat resistant candleholder. Keep candles at least 20 cm apart. Do not burn in a draught. Do not place near a heat source. Place candle upright. Trim wick to 0,5 cm. Snuff out the flame. Do not blow it out. Keep wax pool clear of matches and debris. Do not move a burning candle. Never use liquid to extinguish. Remove packaging before use. Do not touch, may be hot. Never burn a candle when there is less than 2 cm wax at the base. Extinguish a candle if the flame becomes too high or flickers repeatedly. Allow to cool before re-lighting.
